Dr. Michelle Belvin is a native New Englander and long-time animal lover. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania in 2003 with a BA in biology, she returned home and worked for several years as a veterinary technician before pursuing her veterinary education. Dr. Belvin received her DVM degree from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 and went on to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Tufts VETS in Walpole, Massachusetts.
Dr. Belvin worked as a general practitioner in Pembroke, Massachusetts for several years before coming to work at NEAMC in 2022. She has also held positions in the Massasoit College Veterinary Technology program and the Massachusetts Veterinary Medical Association. She currently lives on the south shore with her husband and two sons, a cat named Moxie, and a terrier named Olaf who likes warm hugs.
