Dr. Fernandez, DVM, DACVECC is a Board Certified Criticalist and will see cases as they come into our Emergency and Critical Care Department.  Dr. Fernández strives to work closely with our referring community of veterinarians to ensure we provide excellent medical care and communication for all their patients.  His professional interests include toxicology, emergency surgery, respiratory disease, and education.  

Dr. Fernández earned his veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the British Virgin Islands.  After starting his career in the Hudson Valley of New York, he relocated to Massachusetts where he completed a three-year Residency Program and became a Board Certified member of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2012.  He is fully bilingual in both Spanish and English. 

He lives with his family in southeastern Massachusetts and in his free time he can be found enjoying the outdoors and fishing in Cape Cod.
