Blood Bank. We have the necessary
equipment to collect and store and transfuse whole blood and
also to separate the various components of blood so that they
can be successfully stored frozen and are available when needed
for emergencies. Many of our veterinarian's and technician's
own pets participate in our pet blood donor program. |

Continuing Education. We
have an extensive in house continuing education program. The
lower floor of the hospital contains a specially designed meeting
room that can seat over 50 people. We have continuing education
programs for veterinary technicians as well as for veterinarians.
We also maintain an extensive veterinary library as a reference
resource for our staff as well as computer access to the Veterinary
Information Network that allows us to retrieve articles from
veterinary libraries and journals around the world. We welcome
veterinarians from surrounding clinics to join with us in sharing
the latest medical knowledge. |

Financial Department. We discuss finances with
clients before treatment so that owners can make informed decisions.
Modern medical care is expensive. In order for us to keep our
fees from rising we require that each pet owner pay his or her
medical bill before discharge. We recognize that for many pet
owners a sudden emergency can present a difficult and stressful
situation. Our financial staff can help by presenting some options
including access to medical credit card companies who can provide
instant credit for emergency care. |
