10/18/12 - EMERGENCY & CRITICAL CARE SUPERVISOR: New England Animal Medical Center (NEAMC) is looking for an experienced veterinary technician to assume a supervisory position in our 24 hour Emergency and Critical Care department. Qualified candidates will have experience working in an emergency or specialty service in a leadership role, function well in an environment that can be hectic at times, be willing to train other technicians, and possess great client and team communication skills. Anesthesia skills and MVTA certification are required. VTS certification is a plus. Evening and weekend hours are incorporated into the schedule. Compensation is based on experience. 5/15/12 - SMALL ANIMAL SURGEON: We have an immediate opening for a Board Certified small animal surgeon or individual who has completed residency training in small animal surgery. We currently are looking to fill a part time position that could develop into a full time position.
We are well equipped for a variety of procedures including general surgery, neurosurgery, fracture repair, arthroscopy, laparoscopy and thoracoscopy. We have digital radiology (images read daily by off site radiologists), ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, and an in-house blood bank. We provide emergency 24/7 care in a modern facility with an extensive Intensive Care Unit that is staffed by experienced clinicians including ACVECC doctors and ECC residents. We have a highly trained and dedicated technical staff, many of whom are CVT or VTS (anesthesia) certified. We have well established intern and residency programs.
The ideal candidate will enjoy a collaborative approach to case management and opportunites to work with other experienced clinicians, skilled technicians, and a dedicated support staff. We pride ourself on providing a work environment that is fun and intellectually stimulating. Mentoring interns and residents is an important part of our professional activities.
